Pacific Youth Empowerment for Success Conference (PacYES)

As President of the Micronesians United-Big Island (MU-BI), I served as chair of the planning committee for PacYES from 2017-2019. PacYES is made possibe by all parnterns involved, including MU-BI, Department of of Education, Big Prosectors Office, University of Hawaii at Hilo, Hawaii Community College, Hawaii Countyʻs Immigration Office, and more. As Chair of the planning committee, I facilated planning meetings, and coordinated all espects of the program with all representatives from each of the the parnters involved. PacYES is all about providing resources and mentors to help inspire pacific island highschoolers across the Big Island for College Readiness, Career Readiness, and Community Readiness.
